Quality Standards

What we can prove, and what we cannot.

We are a distributor, so our quality process is about chain of custody and documentation rather than synthesis. Here is exactly what that involves.

  1. 01

    Partner qualification

We work with manufacturing partners who can supply analytical documentation for the material they produce and who will answer questions about how it was made.

  2. 02

    Intake and lot recording

Every shipment we receive is logged against its manufacturer lot number, with the date received, before anything is listed as available.

  3. 03

    Documentation capture

The certificate of analysis supplied with the lot is filed against that batch number and published on the site where one exists.

  4. 04

    Publication

The batch record becomes publicly verifiable. Anyone holding a vial can enter the reference and see the same record we hold.

  5. 05

    Storage and dispatch

Material is held under the storage conditions stated on its specification and packed for transit when dispatched.

What a certificate of analysis tells you

A certificate of analysis is a report from an analytical laboratory describing what a sample of a given lot was found to contain. For the material we distribute, it typically reports chromatographic purity by HPLC and confirms identity by mass spectrometry, and may report water content and residual solvents.

It is evidence about the sample that was tested, produced by the laboratory named on it. It is not a guarantee issued by us, and it is not an approval of any kind by any regulatory body.

What we do not claim

We do not manufacture, synthesise, or test these compounds ourselves. We do not independently re-verify every manufacturer certificate, and we do not present manufacturer documentation as though it were our own analysis. Where a lot has no certificate, the batch record says documentation pending rather than leaving the field blank or filling it with an assumption.

No product we supply has been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any purpose, and nothing on this site should be read as a statement about safety or efficacy in any living subject.

Verifying a lot yourself

Every item ships with a batch reference. Enter it on the batch verification page to see the manufacturer, the date we received it, the testing laboratory, and the certificate of analysis. If a reference returns no record, that is meaningful information, and we would like to hear about it.

Questions we welcome

Ask us where a lot came from, what testing was performed, why a certificate is missing, or how material was stored. Send it through the contact form. Ask us about dosing, administration, or use in humans or animals, and we will decline — not to be unhelpful, but because that falls outside what a Research Use Only supplier is permitted to discuss.
